I am a research associate working with Kayla King and Ben Ashby. My work has been split between modelling various aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and investigating the coevolutionary dynamics of mutualists and parasites in a population of hosts. Previously, I completed my PhD with Kit Yates on “Spatially extended hybrid methods in biology”.
Current position
I am currently an ERC (European Research Council) Postdoctoral researcher in both the King Lab, run by Prof. Kayla King, and the Eco-Evo Theory Group headed by Dr. Ben Ashby. The grant is in the Department of Biology at the University of Oxford. For more information on any of these, please see the links below:
Previous positions
Research Associate - University of Bath (2021-2023)
Worked with Ben Ashby in the Eco-Evo Theory Group to understand the roles that defensive symbiosis can have on parasite evolution as part of the Eco-evo Theory Group.
Education
PhD - SAMBa CDT, University of Bath (2016-2021)
My PhD thesis was titled "Spatially extended hybrid methods in biology" and was completed under the guidance of Dr. Kit Yates. My work comprised develop hybrid frameworks for reaction-diffusion systems.
